We have technicians that are VW/Audi certified, Federally Licensed for Aircraft, and hold certifications from various certifying agencies. Client’s 2017 Volkswagen Tiguan came in for EPC and check engine light. Although we have seen many timing chain failures, this one was hanging on by a thread and was out by 12 degrees of timing. While disassembling the chain was loose it finally jumped time. Fortunately for the client we caught it just in time since they promptly brought it in when the lights came on.
